จากแรงบันดาลใจและความเชื่อศรัทธาในปรัชญาแห่งพระพุทธศาสนา สู่แนวความคิดของการนำเสนอเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับวัฎจักรแห่งการกำเนิดเกิดขึ้น ตั้้งอยู่ และดับไป ของสรรพสิ่งมากมายในธรรมชาติ ซึ่งมีส่วนส่งผลให้ผู้ที่เฝ้าสังเกตความเปลี่ยนแปลงด้วยปัญญา ได้ตระหนักถึงแก่นการดำรงชีวิตอย่างพอเพียง ด้วยความสงบ ความว่างและความสว่างของตนเอง โดยใช้รูปลักษณ์ของพืชผักเมล็ดพันธุ์เป็นสื่อในการแสดงออกเชิงความคิด ด้วยผลงานภาพพิมพ์เทคนิค Mezzotint ที่ละเอียดอ่อนประณีต
Inspired by the belief in Buddhism, Boonmee Sangkhum creates printing works that transport the ideas of life cycle; the origin, the existence and the ending of many things in nature. The artist uses the unique form of seeds found nearby his residence as the main objects in his works, portraying the change in life cycle in which makes those that observe the process with wisdom realize the core of living sufficiently and peacefully.
