นิทรรศการ “American Landscape” คือ การสืบค้นภาพภูมิทัศน์ ทิวทัศน์ ภูมิประเทศ และสิ่งของต่างๆ ที่สะท้อนความเป็นชนชาติอเมริกัน
เพื่อทำความเข้าใจจิตวิญญาณของชาวอเมริกันผ่านวิธีการจัดการกับผืนดินของผู้คนพื้นถิ่น ด้วยแนวคิดของการสำรวจว่าชาวอเมริกัน
นำพื้นที่เหล่านี้ไปใช้ประโยชน์อย่างไร และด้วยเหตุผลใดจึงขยับขยาย ทำลาย ข่มเหง และละทิ้งพื้นที่ซึ่งเคยสร้างประโยชน์ให้กับพวกเขาเอง
ผลงานในครั้งนี้จะนำเสนอภาพภูมิทัศน์ที่สะท้อนถึงสภาวะจิตใจ และกระบวนการทางความคิดของชาวอเมริกันภายใต้บริบทแห่งสังคมในปัจจุบันกาล

“American Landscape” by Ohm Phanphiroj is an investigation into landscape and the Americana in an attempt to
understand the Americans’ psyche through their use of land. The artist wants to understand how and why American people
make use of their land, expanding it, abusing it, and eventually discard the space. Viewers will be introduced to pictures
of the landscape that, as of the artist’s intention, show the mentality of the people and reflect their psyche in order to
understand their behavior and thinking process.
